100th Day of School

What a great day we had at school today! I forgot how much fun the kids had on the 100th day of school. This year was the first year that I actually counted the days of school with the kids and they were so excited every day as we got closer and closer to 100!!! I made a fun entrance to our classroom today to celebrate and the kids got a little rowdy with the streamers.

We made a class book today about what we would do if we had $100. Our class would buy mansions, shiny cars, ships, farms, and dogs. Sounds great huh? Don't you wish $100 would buy those things. LOL...

We also made portraits of what we would look like when we were 100 years old and let me tell you they were hilarious. I made a bulletin board in the hall with out portraits and I uploaded the pic so you all could see our portraits of ourselves when we're O-L-D!

The kids had to bring in a collection of 100 items and hide their collections in a bag so the class couldn't see what they brought. Each child shared clues and the class tried to guess what they brought. Some of these were very hard and we could not guess what they were. We couldn't guess raisins floating in a bottle of sprite, popsicle sticks, or golf tees. There were many more that were hard and we had a blast sharing these.

Thanks for participating in our fun 100th day celebration. I hope you enjoy the pics.
